A round-up of Nigeria-eligible players that were in action for their respective clubs in Europe over the weekend.

Timothy Eyoma has been left out of the Tottenham Hotspur squad in the big clash against Liverpool despite Jose Mourinho inviting him to train with the first team on Friday.

Nigerian forwards Isaac Success and Tom Dele-Bashiru were unused substitutes in Watford’s 3-0 away win against Bournemouth In the Premier League on Sunday.

Success has only played four league games this season while Dele-Bashiru is yet to make his top flight debut.

The win saw Watford remain unbeaten in six consecutive games in all competitions.

Super Eagles goalkeeper Daniel Akepyi continued his impressive form in goal for Kaiser Chiefs, who thrashed visiting Cape Town FC 3-0 in Sunday’s Premier Soccer League (PSL).

Akpeyi kept his second consecutive clean sheets after also shutting out Highlands Park in Wednesday’s 3-0 home win.

It was Akpeyi’s 14th league appearance for Kaiser Chiefs in the current campaign.

Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong helped Udinese maintain their winning run as they beat visiting Sassuolo 3-0 in the Serie A on Sunday.

The game was Troost-Ekong’s 17th league appearance for Udinese in the league this season.

Udinese have now won three consecutive league games following victories against Cagliari and Lecce.
